The players participating in this year’s camp will feature club prospects and players selected in the 2016 NHL Draft, which will be held this Friday and Saturday, June 24-25, at First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York.

Leading the group of prospects will be two of the club’s first round picks in the most recent NHL Drafts – 2014 first round pick Sonny Milano along with 2015 first round pick Gabriel Carlsson. Other drafted players participating in the camp include: 2015 – Paul Bittner, Keegan Kolesar, Kevin Stenlund, Sam Ruopp, Veeti Vainio, Markus Nutivaara; 2014 – Ryan Collins, Elvis Merzlikins, Blake Siebenaler, Tyler Bird, Olivier LeBlanc; 2013 – Nick Moutrey; 2012 - Oscar Dansk. A complete development camp roster will be available prior to the start of camp.

Blue Jackets Development Coaches Chris Clark and Jarkko Ruutu, the Lake Erie Monsters’ coaching staff, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, and skating consultant Lee Harris will lead the on-ice portion of development camp.

No Werenski?

There is absolutely no way Werenski should be playing in this tournament. He has nothing to prove. Weresnki is also younger and I bet had more TOI per game. Let him get some rest and then start to get ready to play for Columbus next year.

I feel like this could be a boring development camp with Bjorkstrand, Zaar, Heatherington, Rychel, Werenski missing due to AHL graduation.. Also, keep in mind Puljujarvi won't be participating due to injury.

Merzlikins and Dansk are the goalies.

Those are the best camps. We know what those guys offered (except Werenski). Let's see some guys we aren't familiar with.

I'm excited to see Bittner. I think he could be another Boone Jenner. Also, Merzlikins sounds like he's developing well so far.

I will say that this lineup isn't all that interesting to me. There are only about three players that I'm all that interested in watching.

He better be there. Right now he has a lot to prove. They went off board for him and needs to prove he can play the C which is why they reached for him. Prove us fans wrong PLD I really really want you too.

Lol. Here I am, trying to persuade people to not fixate so much on what Dubois does next year, and we've got folks arguing that he has to prove it by Monday.

I've been against anyone taking him in the top 10 all off-season haha. I honestly have said he will be the biggest bust this draft and like you I'd a 2W 3C for his career. I want to just see something to calm my nerves.

I'm not sure about any visa issues he might have traveling back to America. It's only three days away and I haven't looked at travel laws recently.

Does he have to wait to start that process until a team takes him? Because he's known for over a year that as of today he would be employed...

No but the draft had a set date. Set the visa up to be ready for today that away you would be ready.
