The second brother, neat. Fairly rare to see a commit with 2 years of junior eligibility left no?

Yeah, definitely not something you see too often. Perhaps the most notable players to do this in recent memory were Mark Raycroft who went from Belleville to Guelph after just two years in the OHL, and Ryerson's Stephen Midensky had another year of junior in the tank too.

You would think they would want to play as much junior as possible if for no other reason than to increase their education package. However, kudos to them for wanting to get started on with their schooling asap.

Waterloo's Adam Bignell did this a couple years back as well, although he left at Christmas 2014 to return to Belleville and finish his OA career.

Laurier adds:

D - Alex Annecchiarico (Weeks Crushers, MHL)

He looks to be a stay at home defenceman with good size at 6'1 225, who played bits of 3 seasons with the Owen Sound Attack (OHL).

Hearing that Lakehead secured, then lost, three major-junior players. Something about suddenly not returning their calls. One is from STU and looking to play elsewhere in the OUA.

Have to wonder what Carleton's recruiting class will look like; this time last year the Ravens had a couple solid CHL guys locked up. Wonder if Marty Johnston getting a serious look at the Gatineau job has anything to do with it.

Team had the guys locked up, and when the guys called to figure out enrolment/paperwork, team didn't answer. :help:

This is absolutely inexcusable for a team that didn't even make the playoffs last year!

I would really like to know what's going on with Lakehead.
