Never understood this. Good point production, average corsi (aka not liable defensively), plays difficult competition.

But he doesn't play a 'mans' game so old time hockey fans think he is trash. It is why we can't have nice things in edmonton.

I think Yak gets it the worst in edmonton, mostly from the edmonton media though. Remenda said he had a poor finish last season when he had like 7 points in 11 games.

Polak right now.

Hunwick not too far behind.

Marincin has his detractors(I'm a fan).

Whipping boys potentially around the Corner? Maybe Bozak(again), Martin and or one of Michalek/Greening/Laich that take a spot from Leivo or Brown.

Yakupov. Every single breath he takes gets scrutinized by most Oiler fans.

For the Leafs good question, now that those "Cancers in the locker room" (stupid insult :shakehead:shakehead) Phaneuf and Kessel are gone its tough to say. I want to say Lupul but when hes injured 99% of the time its kinda hard to bash him.

Pominville on the Wild. Easily. Second place goes to whomever fans think is taking minutes away from Nino.

But the way the senator fans talk about Weircoich or what ever his name is. I think it could be him.

It's part deserved. He rarely has an impact on the game anywhere. Last night on the PP he flat out got beat along the boards which lead to a SH chance.

Slepyshev looked much better. That being said, Reinhart gets it way worse.

Ryan Murphy for the Canes, I guess. Maybe Lindholm, if he doesn't make some tangible progress this season. Oh, and of course Cam Ward.

Habs:

(You guessed it) David Desharnais.

With every new preseason he looks worse and (for some reason that I can't explain) looks smaller and smaller too. The guy has been awful so far this preseason (continuing his trend over from the past 3 seasons), and would most definitely have been among the first wave of preseason cuts were he not a veteran. The amount of (justified) hate he gets among Canadiens fans is to a level that is unprecedented.

Curtis Glencross. Not a whipping boy. Simply the sole reason for everything that goes wrong with the Avs.

With their pick, the Bruins are happy to select as whipping boy for the 2016-17 season, Mr Jimmy Hayes.
