I think we should go 30 deep this year since we will have so many prospects.

I just did a mock of my list. I thought there were 20 skaters easily worth ranking. Obviously we will be adding more at the draft, so doing at least 25 definitely seems doable.

Looking at the list, just being one of our top 10 position prospects, you have to be damn good. Our prospect pool after this draft is going to look insane on paper.

I know there's some big Sanheim boys on this board.

There definitely are, but Nico/Nolan is a different tier of prospect. I would be surprised to see more than 2 serious Sanheim>Nico/Nolan supporters.

Where does Nico/Patrick go? 1 or 2?

#1 for me. I think a better question is. Do any other player from this upcoming draft crack the top 10? As of right now without a trade up into the first I'm not feeling confident. But that's obviously still a very good thing given what's in the pipeline.

Who has been the Biggest riser since last poll?

Has to be Laczynski, along with Bunnaman. Maybe over at BSH it's Vorobyov, but we pegged him pretty well last summer, though I'm sure he can go up a handful of spots yet.

But Lacyznski for me is going to go way up, considering he wasn't even ranked. I have a hunch I will have him quite a bit above consensus too, over some more popular names. Bunnaman too is going to be a big riser given his similar status last summer.

Who has been the Biggest riser since last poll?

Lasczynski, no doubt. As Magua said, he wasn't even ranked last summer. By January, he was already in my top 10. I especially wish everyone could have seen his NCAA Tournament game vs Minn-Duluth.

Wasn't necessarily directed at anyone. I just know some of our better posters who get to see a lot of his games have been impressed with him. Didn't me it negatively or anything.

No offense taken. No worries.

Patrick or Nico should be #1, unless the Devils take Nico and then Patrick strains his groin walking to the podium. Then I'll go with Sanheim.

It'll be fun for our #1 & #2 prospects to be a high end potential 1C and a high potential D.

This is already counting in having Provorov on the team and Lindblom coming over soon.

Who has been the Biggest riser since last poll?

For me it's Lindblom or Laczynski depending on how you want to look at it.

Laczynski rose from being outside of last year's top 20 to probably somewhere around 11-14 this year but he's jumped over a lot of guys who will probably never be more than NHL role players if they make it at all.

Lindblom will likely rise from 7 last year to either 3 or 4 this year behind Patrick/Hischier, Sanheim, and possibly Myers. The jump wasn't huge but last season most people saw the top 6 of Provorov, Sanheim, Konecny, Morin, Rubtsov, and Myers as the elite group with a bit of a gap between the next tier and I truly believe Lindblom is right in that group of elite prospects now.

It's one thing for Laczynski to jump over guys like Hogberg, Martel, and Bardreau and it's another thing to possibly jump over Morin, Rubtsov, and Myers.

Leier is tough to predict for me he played well last year before being injured not sure if the injury will set him back this year...3 dmen with top 4 potential and 5 forwards with top 6 potential before the draft is amazing compared to where our prospect pool use to be And that's not including #2OA.

Forgot Brendan Warren, the guy from the Nick Cousins trade.

Is Vasiliev still a Flyer's prospect or they miss the window?

Thanks, added.

They have his NHL rights as a player drafted out of Russia so I left him on the list.

Are we going to have separate polls for goalies as last year?

I would not include Valeri Vasiliev on the list, should we really consider him as Flyers prospect?
