Looks like Detroit has struck gold with Larkin(again). Michigan kid, U of Michigan, next the Wings. He's been verrry good for the US.

It would be cool to see the Wild get a Minnesotan of similar pedigree (oh, Mr. Fasching, you were excellent again tonite).

Long ways to go with his skating-good hands and big thou. He was not on the ice at critical times in this game.

Has anyone watched Sweden enough to know how Bristedt has looked?

Just watched Russia-Sweden

Mostly fourth-line and didn't look very good as his line was pinned a couple of times, got a chance in the third with a pretty impressive rush that pushed Russia back a bit, but no power play time that I noticed.
