these players Marner Barzal Aho Rantanen - all have had some crazy bright moments and some quieter but productive moments nonetheless. One of them led the league in scoring for a good 2 months and is an absolute beast in the playoffs as well with 39 points in 33 career playoff games. Rantanen is an elite offensive player. The others are very good but Marner is the only one who matches him in production and that's only until the playoffs start. Rantanen shines in the postseason as I said before.​

I have Kucherov and Kane above him. Panarin is in the conversation. Still, I think that is way more props than where Aho is in terms of top centers.

Yeah, I think Pasta and Marchand are in that conversation as well, but I guess I just see Marner being more inclined to production on his own ala Kane. He's like a more complete Patrick Kane without the goal scoring ability.

I'm not a Leafs fan prior to anyone asking.

I think he is top 5 right now, or very close. He will be right there at the top in a few years I think.

No way that I would take Aho 3 in that draft.

So is Marner also better than Matthews? Or maybe centers group is much stronger than wingers one?
Also Marner has no case for being better than Marchand /Pastrnak.
