That is bold

Watch him play lots, he's definitely the #1 Dman in the draft, being 3rd to McDavid & Eichel may be wrong, at least Eichel not McDavid. Just one opinion, centers are coveted but a defenceman like Provorov doesn't happen often, being a Russian probably kept him out of the 3 man race it should have been, IMHO. The scramble for 3rd overall is heating up for today's event it should be a dandy and 2015 remembered as the best yet.

And it removes 1 possibility to trade down for us 'cause we won't trade down with Boston....

That's a certainty, unless Price was offered  even then, Boston's competitiveness with the Habs preclude doing business, other than games, just in case we win somehow!!!:laugh::laugh:

Boston's GM Don Sweeney moving up for a shot at Provorov, with 2 high 1st's and 3 - 2nd's could land the 3rd OV. Dougie Hamilton for Calgary's 1st & 2-2nd's In 2015. Sounds like Sweeney is going to trade Lucic to LA for #13 OV, which could give them 13, 14, and 15 OV in 2015.

Alright this would have been my draft for now:

26. Anthony Beauvillier - LW- 5'10 - QMJHL (still not fully sure about this one, all the guys that I really wanted got drafted just before)
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=213435

88. Filip Ahl - LW - 6'04 - SHL
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=162177

131. Ryan Pilon - D - 6'02 - WHL
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=119271

177. Nikita Korostelev - RW- 6'01 - OHL
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=183258

207. Veini Vehlainen - G - 6'01 - Mestis (might change this one, if I discover a new prospect)
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=176290

Edit new version:
Considering every player I wanted in the 1st round got picked, I would have move down. Lets say we could have traded our #26 for CLB #38 and #58 (avoiding Columbus to trade their #34 and #68 for Toronto #29)
So my draft would have been:
*38. Daniel Sprong (R) - QMJHL - 6'00 [46]
*58. Oliver Kylington (D) - SHL - 6’00 [60]
88. Filip Ahl (L) - SHL - 6'04 [109]
131. Cooper Marody (R) - USHL - 6'00 [158]
177. Nikita Korostelev (R) - OHL - 6'01 [185]
207. Nathan Noel (C) - QMJHL - 5’11 - Undrafted

Previous drafts:
2014:
26. Nikita Scherbak (RW) - WHL - 6'01 [26]
73. Brayden Point (C) - WHL - 5'10 [79]
125. Ondrej Kase (RW) - Czech - 6'00 [205]
147. Adam Ollas Mattsson (D) - Allvsk - 6'04 [175]
177. Axel Holmstrom (C) - SHL - 6'00 [196]
207. Vladimir Tkachev (LW) - QMJHL - 5'09 - Undrafted

2013:
25. Marko Dano (R) - KHL - 5'11 - [27]
34. Robert Hagg (D) - SEL - 6’02 - [41]
36. Nick Sorensen (R) - QMJHL - 6’01 - [45]
55. Artturi Lehkonen (L) - SM-Liiga - 5’11 - [55]
71. Pavel Buchnevich (L) - KHL - 6’02 - [75]
86. Oliver Bjorkstrand (R) - WHL - 6’00 - [89]
116. Eric Roy (D) - WHL - 6’03 - [135]
176. Lucas Wallmark (C) - SEL - 6’00 - Undrafted (97 in 2014)
*206. Nikita Tryamkin (D) - KHL - 6’07 (19) - Undrafted (66 in 2014)

Montreal
damn Korostelev in the 7th is excellent value, i dont understand why Noel didnt get drafted..
Novak that late in the 3rd is good value too
Wotherspoon in the 4th great pick
Love Bourque in the 6th and Addison in the 7th, great value
No idea who our 3rd round pick is
Garland in the 5th and Mangiapane in the 6th, solid picks aswell
who the **** is Andong Song?

Ottawa had a solid draft: Chabot, White, Gagne (didnt like this pick), Chlapik, Wolanin, Ahl, Jaros
Yan to Tampa in the 3rd, could end up being one of their trademark home run type picks

P.S: Greenway was a top 60 pick ;)

The single most unselfish move of the entire 2015 Entry Draft, was when Jack Eichel raced up to the podium to hand Connor McDavid his new Edmonton Oiler jersey. :sarcasm: Katz's son & Eichel are dead ringers for each other. Does anyone think new Bruins GM Don Sweeney has overtaken the Habs as the most hated hockey figure in Massachusett's?

Can't believe this hasn't been closed up yet and the 2016 one on page 14 all ready.

People must be really bummed.

I like the Juulsen pick, he's got all the tools to be a 2nd pairing Dman, and he was running Everett's PP. Timmins & Bergevin looked really pleased with getting him, Timmins talking about Noah playing for a defence oriented team like Everett's, giving him a year jump in development. Saying Juulsen's already shown himself to be gifted offensively, the comparison's to Bieksa & Petry sure make me comfortable with the pick, besides being Scherbak's teammate, so they will have some chemistry before making the NHL/AHL. Getting Petry is a huge payoff for our 2nd & 4th round picks, adding another defenceman with the same upside late in the 1st is great managing IMHO, nice draft having those two, if any other pick develops into an NHLer it's a great draft year.
