I thought I heard something about the oldest Sutter being the best but instead of playing hockey he works on the farm?
Maybe not?
Lol. Reminds me of the hockey movie Youngblood starring Rob Lowe.

Hmm, maybe I just made that up then.Unless there is some other brother Eric is the oldest one. I do remember however that they used to say that the yougest brother Jared had the most talent when they were younger.
Edit: Their father was the one who said it.
Edit 2: Jared has two games in the NHL. Played on a line with Eric and Jordan.

I'm interested in this guy:
He is projected to go in the mid-late second round by some due to the Russian Factor. I think he would be a good pick with Chicago's second. I saw one mock draft have him selected 29th overall. That same draft has us taking forwards with every pick in rounds 1 - 4 though, so take that however you want to. The guy has talent though.
I have liked the guy all year... but with the Tampa pick if we pick a forward at #7 I actually would love Juulsen. (though tbh there are ~5 guys around that range I would be ecstatic with.)
Guy just has something extra about him, super competitive, can really pass, good IQ, good in transition, also a nasty SOB who is hell to play against. His hitting at times is brutal. Mobile, good laterally but not particularly fast in a straight line.
He has the kind of skillset that with maturation and good development would make him a player with no real flaws at the next level. He would not have the upside of Sanheim or Morin ofc... but I can see the potential for him to be a very good #2. Flyers fans in general would also love the kid.
We could re-hash the 'Great Dane' nickname as well for him, but hopefully be able to use it as he is a great player of Danish descent... not just a tall Danish guy.
Let's say the draft shakes out like this:
1. McDavid
2. Eichel
3. Strome
4. Hanifin
5. Marner
6. Barzal
7. Werenski
8. Crouse
9. Zacha
10. Provorov
11. Connor
12. Meier
Would you considering trading up to grab Rantanen? I have no idea if this would go down this way, obviously, but if he slips to 13 or later, would you move up to grab him? If so, what do you think it would take? TB's first, this year's second for sure...more than that? I'd probably do it. Would love to come away with Werenski and Rantanen in this draft.
Provorov is way better than werneski no way provorov slips to 10, no way should he get past us
Absolutely not. Just personal opinion. I don't like Rantanen and I also see zero chance Crouse falls past 7. I don't think he's much of a playmaker, and God I hope the Flyers wouldn't pass on Barzal.
I guess since Morin had a bad game we should draft some more D.LOL
I think your right about the forward but people calling out Morin for one bad game are on glue. Going to games 3 and 4 in Kelowna for the finals to watch Provorov to see how he handles his first test.If they think Provorov is going to be a top pairing d-man....then by all means...take him.
But I do think we go forward with our #7 pick. Just who?
If Marner is at 6, you best draft up to get him. If not, then Barzal.
DeBrusk looks to be in our radar for the Tampa pick.
The question is, if we do get Barzal and DeBrusk, and especially with someone like NAK rising in the ranks, where do people go in the future?
Barzal-Giroux-Voracek
DeBrusk-Couts-Simmonds
NAK-Laughton-Schenn

I notice they have Werenski as RD... That's interesting considering our need for RD, but I'm still thinking they take a forward.
