Honestly, I am just happy we were able to recoop a 2nd in a pretty good draft for this year. The Timonen trade, while it sucks to lose the player, we traded a guy who we all thought was going to retire last year, this year or next year, and hasnt played due to an injury for a 2nd round pick in a very good draft and a 4th next year which could very well be a 2nd with the way Chicago is going for it all.
Do not get me wrong, I am hoping that today or tomorrow Hex is able to trade some of the fat we still have, but I am very happy that we able to get some assets during a draft where we needed some.
This also shows that Hex knows that our timeframe is not this season.
