You guys aren't giving Larsson enough credit, I've seen plenty of Oilers/Devils proposals that included Larsson while modding the trade board and Devils fans were always hesitant on giving him up.

I am not huge on analytics, but this.

I liked what I saw in Larsson for sure, but it shouldnt have been 1 to 1.

But then again, the Oilers had a glut of forwards, no choice.

It makes no sense. That contract is awful. He didn't look good in the playoffs either. Nashville did great getting Subban back.

FYI that there was NO salary retained in Subban-Weber blockbuster. Straight up contract for contract.

This, but NJD did need help up front. Wow, not the deal I thought was coming.

So wtf is happening
First its reported that Stamkos is going to Toronto to meet the Mayor and the CEO of Canadien tires and a couple of hours later resign with tampa.

Then Larsson for Hall...

And now Subban for Weber

I think you can say its a brutal day for canada.

Two of the worst contracts in the NHL and it's a one for one. Subban in a cowboy hat.:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Stamkos is also a known quantity in TB. Him staying away from Buf/Tor/Det is good for us too.
