Paxton Leroux was here last time. Nick Latta finished last season in Hartford.

Logan Nelson was a former 5th round pick of the Sabres.

Bryan Moore spent the second half of last season with Sault Ste. Marie in the OHL. The Rangers probably saw plenty of him when scouting Halverson.

Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the other guys coming?

I'm assuming that this was an error?

Twenty players on the roster also participated in the Rangers’ annual Prospect Development Camp during the first week of July, including 2013 draft picks Adam Tambellini, Pavel Buchnevich, Anthony Duclair, and Mackenzie Skapski.

Land of no calls..
Graves was nursing a shoulder injury through the playoffs, which corresponded with a notable drop in his willingness to initiate things physically. Still, he was stellar despite the shoulder problems.

MSG had it the 11/12 season, right?

I don't remember if they had it last two years.

I hope they televise it. I want to see McIlrath call Dave Maloney "dude" again

(Yes, I'm fully aware McIlrath is not playing in this tournament).
McIlrath isn't playing in this tournament.

There was no tournament during the lockout year and they didn't televise it last year. I'd like to see it, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Nothing yet..T @BobStandsUp: Any word on TV coverage? I wanna see too!!! @JimCerny @MSGNetworks @NYRangers @NHLNetwork

I doubt MSG is doing anything or else it would have been announced, if we are lucky the NHL Network would do something...wouldn't count on it though.

There was no Traverse City in the lockout shortened season. Rangers didn't broadcast it last year.

You never responded to my inquiry in the spec thread!

Do you want to open an advanced statistics hockey consulting firm with me?

#FancyStats

Jared is basically next in line to get hired by an NHL team now that Tyler Dellow is no longer available. :D

Why no Brady Skjei?

He's a college kid who has classes. They don't let you temporarily leave school for anything other than the WJCs. He'd also have to pay his own way to participate in order to maintain his NCAA eligibility.

I posted it elsewhere, but it should really be in this thread:

As usual I am excited to watch the Traverse tournament, but let's all keep in mind that this is ECHL-level hockey. AHLers tend to dominate these games (e.g., Parlett a couple years ago). In fact, some of the lower or more raw prospects are below ECHL level.

Just because someone is looking really good in Traverse, does not mean he's a great prospect unless he's very young. Thus if someone like The Duke dominates, it's a great sign. For someone older like Bodie, it is expected and his real ability will be gauged in the preseason and then the AHL.

Pretty much everyone you'd expect with the exception of Graves.

For the poster asking about Skjei--not usually college kids. Hagelin didn't play until his four years at Michigan were done. Latta had an ATO with Hartford towards the end of last year and was at the summer development camp. Moore and Nelson were at the summer development camp as well.
