I was expecting more trades during the draft tonight TBH. Not surprised the Habs didn't make any deals though.

I guess that the fact that Scherbak fell that much made the Habs not do a deal. But they would have if he was not going to be there.

One thing I noticed in this video of Scherbak is that a lot of his goals are a product of him out-muscling a defenceman. He seems to be a pretty good battler:


If you look at the Barbashev highlight reel it's more set-ups and shots, whereas Scherbak is all work. Maybe it's not a good comparison but interesting nonetheless.
