On the topic of the thread, Joshua Ho-Sang and Aaron Ekblad are some of the most intriguing prospects from Ontario in a while, from what I've seen and who I've talked to. Tons of potential for both. Definitely players to watch if people are interested in top prospects.

Ho-Sang, could have (and should have for that matter) made Team Ontario for the upcoming U17s. Look for him to be staring there next year, with Ekblad playing it for his second time.

Jake Virtanen out west also has the potential to be a top round pick for the 2014 draft. Not exactly lighting it up in midget right now, but the kid was drafted first overall in the WHL draft last spring and from what i've read, plays and styles his game after Rick Nash! He's going to reach near Rick's size as well it seems, he's already 6'0 180 pounds!

He probably won't make it in the 1st round, but he is definitely one of the more intriguing prospects coming out of Germany in recent years:

Leon Draisaitl

Looking forward to seeing him up close and personal alot over the next few years. He was picked 2nd overall in the CHL import draft by the PA Raiders.

In Latvia we hype this guy, Rihards Bukarts, not seeing them play each other I'd still say he should be better than Koys. Latvia's top scorer in EYOF U17 last year (and tournament's second, after Mikhail Grigorenko in nr.1), already put 2 goals in the net for team Latvia U20 vs Austria in the preparatory game. Despite being stuck in worst team in MHL and bad line, still produces points...

In Denmark they hype this guy http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=66581
Pretty impressive stats in Swiss Jr. A...

Rihards Bukarts will go top 10 in the first round i think, kids got some skills.

Jakub Vrana is starting to receive some hype: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=101250

Had a good WJC-18 as under aged, ending up 11th in scoring total and 1st in Czech Rep with 8 points in 6 games.

The bolded part was a new all-time points record for a U16 player in the U18 World Juniors if i remember correctly.

Vrana must be considered one of the top prospects for the 2014 draft at this time IMO.
