How is he mistake prone?

What stands out in my mind was at the WJR's in 2007, against the Americans, when Letang slashed Jack Johnson in the face in OT. I can't give other examples, altho I know there were other ones because I always think "there he goes again", but he seems prone to "accidents".

Let's just stop bickering for a moment and appreciate how damn good John Tavares is. So grateful that he'll be a Top 9 center on this team...oh wait.

(he better be)

Agreed.

I'd love to see Tavares or Stamkos with Crosby. Stamkos has been dominating so far, it's scary to think about him and Crosby playing together. That's not gonna end well. For the opposite team.:naughty:

Yeah I want Stamkos-Crosby-St. Louis. Whatever line Crosby plays on will get the tough matchups so give him some talent and then let JT feast on easier matchups.

Yeah, and the bonus with that is that after the Olympics people can get to downplay Crosby becouse he did not outscore Tavares. Win-Win for everybody.

Team Canada is in the position right now to select any goalie from Canada playing well. Harding should be the #1 right now for Team Canada.

Be hard pressed to find any goalie playing better at the moment, let alone just looking at Canadian goalies. He's certainly doing his all to make the decision tough.

This.

It baffles me that there is an alleged possibility that St.Louis doesn't make Team Canada. Baffles me.

So we have Kunitz as a strong possibility, Spezza on the wing, the Getzlaf - Perry combo with a Swedish player, Bergeron as a 14th forward, no Doughty and Phaneuf of all people in his place, Crosby on the PK. Not so good.

Offensively perhaps, but JBo's a defenceman and that demonstrated exactly why he shouldn't be on the team: We don't need defencemen who are defensive liabilities.

Agree to disagree I guess. I don't think Boumeester is bad defensively at all.

Giroux, E Staal, two guys i had as locks over the summer , now look to be on the outside looking in.

One thing i still can't work out, will they play stammer at C or wing with Sid?

Could you see a Stamer/Sid/StLoo line?

Leaving Toews,Getz,Berg as your next 3 Cs?

Lol, it's going to be a pretty sick list of names at forward that won't make this team.

I don't see a big problem with Kunitz on the roster. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see someone different probably, but hey...he has 8 goals and 15 points in 15 games, that's not bad. He's defensively good enough IMO and with Stamkos, that line could work really well.

No point in doing a Stamkos - Crosby - St. Louis line

Nobody does the dirty work on that line

Both Crosby and St. Louis are the type that will scroll to the sideboards and be the playmaker
