I'd be hesitant to burn a year off Ritchie's ELC. Keep him developing, keep him cheap, let him get spot duties here and there.

AHL or NHL, a year gets burnt on that contract next year.
Hmm, maybe I'm mixing it up. I thought if he played more than 9(?) games in the NHL it counts as a season and burns a year off his ELC. Similar to what the team did with Smith-Pelly.
That's if they are in juniors still... or under 20 I believe?

Did Rakell and Noesen play on the same line for the Plymouth Whalers?
Pretty sure they did
There isn't going to be any rush to play Noesen, right now. He has only played one game, and it's the playoffs. That's what I thought. I wonder if Noesen will get a look on Rakell's wing if Palmieri continues his lackluster play.

Haha sorry for the confusion. I definitely did not mean he would get a look during the playoffs. Maybe sometime next year assuming he does well in San Diego.
