Petrecki's a former 1st round pick of San Jose.

Portland Pirates sign F Eric Selleck and D Joel Hanley to a 1-year AHL contracts.

Selleck split last season between the San Antonio Rampage and Chicago Wolves. In total, Selleck played 60 games last season, tallying 6-6-12 with 163 PIM. He also played in nine playoff games last season with Chicago, notching an assist.

Hanley, a 23 year-old from Keswick, Ontario, made his professional debut with the Pirates toward the end of last season on an Amateur Tryout Contract. The 6-foot-1, 195 pound defenseman played in 15 games and notched five assists.

Charlie Dodero (Hartford) has signed with Idaho (ECHL).
Paul Crowder (Milwaukee) has signed with Fort Wayne (ECHL).

Dodero spent the entire 2013-2014 season in the ECHL while Crowder only played 4 games with Milwaukee.

Phantoms sign Fyten

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have announced that they have agreed to terms with LW Austin Fyten to a two-way AHL contract for the 2014-15 season.
Austin Fyten, 23 (5/3/1991), is a 6'2", 200 lb. skater with a left-handed shot from Sundre, Alberta. Fyten is entering his third season of professional hockey.

Sound Tigers Announce Six Two-Way Deals

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that forwards Peter Sivak, Michael Pereira and Adam Phillips, along with defensemen Mark Nemec and Keith Seabrook and goaltender Philippe Trudeau have agreed to one-year, two-way (AHL/ECHL) contracts.

Mike Pereira and Adam Phillips were previously confirmed. Peter Sivak, Mark Nemec, Keith Seabrook (who did not play last year) and Philippe Trudeau are just being announced.

Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has re-signed goaltender Jeff Malcolm.

Originally signed to an AHL contract July 17, 2013, Malcolm, a second-year man out of Yale University, saw action in six games with the Wolf Pack last season. The 25-year-old Lethbridge, Alberta native went 1-3-0 in those six appearances, with a 2.85 goals-against average and an 88.8% save percentage. In 27 games with the Wolf Pack’s ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors, Malcolm was 13-9-0, with a 2.90 GAA and a 91.2% save percentage.
