Looks to be a very young Oklahoma squad next season.

The Oklahoma City Barons have signed forwards Connor Jones and Kellen Jones to amateur tryout contracts, General Manager Bill Scott announced today. The pair have also signed AHL standard player contracts for the 2014-15 season. The twin brothers hail from Montrose, British Columbia and competed collegiately at Quinnipiac University.

Kellen was selected in the seventh round (202nd overall) by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Hello everybody,

sorry for interrupting, but I have a question about AHL Free Agents and a possible move to another league - especially to Germany. Are there any information/ rumors yet? I plan to make a transfer-list for the whole German League DEL and if it is possible, some extra-information from North America would be nice.
I hope that the question is okay here. If not, remove or shift it, please.

Thank you very much and excuse my weak English.

Stephan

A note about Nathan Walker of Hershey. He isn't quite a "free" agent, as he is draft eligible this year. His rights will belong to someone after the draft.

Milwaukee signs Frederick Gaudreau
[My Translation]Gaudreau has signed with the Predators on a on year American Hockey League contract for the 2014-15 season. He preferred to not be quoted on the news as he has not yet signed the contract. That step should be completed no later than Tuesday.

The Syracuse Crunch have re-signed forward Eric Neilson to a one-year AHL pact, Crunch GM Julien BriseBois announced today.

Neilson, 29, returns to the Crunch for his third season after recording three points (1g, 2a) and 100 penalty minutes in 35 games during the 2013-14 season. The 6-foot, 209-pound winger has played in 260 career AHL games with Peoria, Hamilton, San Antonio, Norfolk and Syracuse. – The Hershey Bears announced today that the club has re-signed forward Dane Byers for the 2014-2015 season. The announcement was made by Bears President/GM Doug Yingst.

Last year Byers appeared in 73 games with Hershey, recording 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists), a plus-six rating and a team-leading 211 penalty minutes. His 15 goals ranked tied for fifth on the squad, while his assist and point totals each ranked sixth. He was named the team’s most valuable player in a pre-game award ceremony at GIANT Center on April 19.

I do believe that Drew MacKenzie signed a 2 year deal with Abbotsford prior to last season, although I could easily be mistaken and this past season could have been year 2 of 2.

2013-2014 was the second year of his contract.

But just before training camps opened in late September (2012), MacKenzie landed a two-year AHL contract from Abbotsford.

The Crunch won't bring back Maxime Langelier-Parent and Geoff Walker.
http://www.syracuse.com/crunch/inde...acuse_crunch_free_agent_forward_geoff_wa.html

Syracuse Crunch forward Geoff Walker said Tampa Bay has told his agent he will not be offered a contract for the 2014-15 season.

Crunch forward Max Parent will also be leaving the organization. He has signed a deal to play with the Nottingham Panthers in England.
