Good for Hunwick. He's worked hard and kept positive, and it is finally paying off for him. For a guy who was probably never given much of a hope of an NHL career (5'10 defenceman, 7th round pick) he has come pretty far, and I'd bet this is a huge honour for him.

I'm happy for him, and I'm sure it is an honor. I'd be honored too, but on a real team with a real defense, I have doubts he's anything above 7th. Maybe a passable 5/6 at best.

Well if Jets don't make it they have chances for Buff and Bogsian.

Also I hope EJ doesn't decline because he could use the tournament as well.
