The invites that have floated out for team USA so far don't look good. Assuming they accept...

Oh. Well good for him.

I'd love to see a Duchene - O'Reilly - Parenteau line if they all make it.

I think EJ making the Olympic team is going to be unlikely as it is but if he doesn't accept this invite and play great in the tournament, he has no shot.

Hunwick

I'd guess Hejda plays for the Czech Republic. Maybe Hejduk if he wants one last go round on the international stage.

Good for Hunwick. He's worked hard and kept positive, and it is finally paying off for him. For a guy who was probably never given much of a hope of an NHL career (5'10 defenceman, 7th round pick) he has come pretty far, and I'd bet this is a huge honour for him.

I'm happy for him, and I'm sure it is an honor. I'd be honored too, but on a real team with a real defense, I have doubts he's anything above 7th. Maybe a passable 5/6 at best.

Hall, Eberle, Duchene and Stamkos. At least Canada will be entertaining to watch.

Well there you go, I had no idea Bogosian was American. But I'd imagine they'll have to get some bigger bodies in. Or maybe they're filling the roster with plugs to make Sacco look better.
