Two blown breakaways for Buffalo in that period -- Jacobs and Nelson IIRC. They got more than a few chances, but Coreau had several key pad saves for Detroit. Mantha picked up his second with the early PPG that period, as Lieuwen was screened and saw the puck redirected past him off Austin's hip. Buffalo also laid some big hits that period, among them Nelson and Zadorov.
