If we sign one of Brunner or Clarkson here I think we come out, net, ahead of where we started. We replace Alfredsson and Latendresse with Burnner/Clarkson and MacArthur. Replace Gonchar and Benoit with Karlsson and Cowen.

In theory if we can get one more signing we should be a better team than we were last year especially adding Spezza and a healthy Michalek into the mix.
