Pittsburgh has less than a million in cap space with 11 forwards and 7 defenseman signed.

They'll have to make a move, and he's one of the bigger names on the roster that isn't named Crosby or Malkin.

For what it's worth:

Last 3 seasons: Alfredsson 51g, 116pts…Macarthur 49g, 125 pts. However you can't replace Alfredsson's presence in the room or community.

Also MacArthur is a pretty fast skater and can distribute the puck pretty well and work along the boards. Might look pretty good playing with Zibanejad and Silfverberg IMO.
