Back on topic. This is the Wild's record this year based on opponent's current seeding. Division teams bolded.

1) 1-2 (1 SOW)
2) 0-3
3) 2-2
4) 1-1 (1 SOW)
5) 1-2
6) 0-2-1
----------------------
8) 2-0-1
9) 2-1
10) 2-1
11) 2-1 (1 OT win)
12) 3-2 (1 OT and 1 SO win)
13) 3-0
14) 2-1 (1 OT and 1 SO win)
15) 3-0-1

All three OT wins came during or because of a PP.

Interesting how we don't have a winning record against any team above us, but have one against every team below us. Beating teams you're supposed to beat? Yep. No "playing down" this year. Squeaking in because of a weak division and SO wins? Looking like a "yes" also.

Anyone who graduates from that institute is making minimum $50K a year as well, which helps. As well, for us dudes, as I stated, the finest girls you gon' find are right there thur at that St. Thomas University. :nod:

who cares? beating the teams you are supposed to beat is one way of making the playoffs.

Suter should win the Norris over Subban or anyone else. If all you are looking for is goals and assist then why bother with an award that rewards the best overall defenseman?

Well after yesterday's big win I am going to possibly say something that might get the Wild HF posters carrying flaming torches and calling for my head. But the Hell with it I feel good about this team and where they are at.


Anyone have ideas for possible playoff themed avatars?
