Waterloo 4, Lakehead 2 (Waterloo wins the series 2-0). Watched most of this one online. Dupuis let in a couple of quick softies in the first period and Lakehead was in a big hole they were never able to get out of. Lakehead dominated possession in the 2nd and 3rd periods and outshot Waterloo by a wide margin, but they didn't seem to get a lot of quality chances - and when they did, Hartigan saved Waterloo's bacon, as he so often does. With these short series, it's always a bit shocking how quickly a season can end.
Windsor 4, York 2 (Windsor wins the series 2-0). This was a series I thought York had a decent chance to win. I saw them play two weeks ago and beat Western in OT and they are a steady and competent, if not spectacular, team. York should have won game 1 but gave up the tying goal with 8 seconds left in the 3rd and then lost in overtime. Last night, they were behind all night, and just like that it's over.
