Don`t look now but the Devils only a pt behind the Jackets with CBJ having a game in hand.

Leafs with another solid push for a playoff spot last night too....nice

Read Evander Kane was a HEALTHY scratch last night.

Next time somebody suggests we trade for this moron they should get stoned.

He's among the most selfish arrogant players in the NHL. I'd probably love to party with him ...

I think he is a good player but with some of the problems in Winnipeg he sounds like he might be a locker room cancer-but then it may not be just him-he's just catching the blame.

Damn, Blues open up scoring.... Does anyone else cheer when the other team scores a goal when it's two teams that aren't the Bruins

The Blues score and I give my usual cheer until I realize I want them to lose. I still like the Blues though, if they weren't fighting the Bruins for 1st I'd be routing for them.

Can't root against the blues...as much as I want home ice...I just can't bring myself to do it.

Jayden Schwartz is going to be a playoff stud.

If the Hawks win

Im guessing the Bruins finish the year 2-2

That would mean the Blues would have to go 3-0-1 to pass us in the standings

I really do respect Emrick for the career he's had but he is friggin unlistenable at this point. And Olcyzk is as bad as ever. The best guy on these broadcasts is McGuire, that's how bad this is. Emrick needs to hang it up.

That was enormous. 3 Wins and the B's are guaranteed home ice in the Cup.

Leafs board is awesome. Seems like most are coming around to the fact that Kessel isn't really a core piece to build around.

Quite the gem from last night's Leaf game (That ironically didn't come from the Leafs):

I'm pretty sure Jet fans are going to use this as "exhibit A" in the case to buy Pavelec out.

That, and Evander Kane is in the doghouse for not showing up to practice.

Yet somehow, its a mockable point around these parts...

And Vancouver choked in theirs.

The Bruins eviscerated the Canucks in the Boston games, and lost in all of the away games until the very end. That game 7 was glorious....but I would not want to have to rely on that again. I want any game 7 in Boston next time.

I don't think anyone is mocking gaining home ice. What people mock is celebrating the President's Trophy as though it's the Stanley Cup, or that it's a guarantee of playoff success. If the Bruins can secure it, great, but I don't want them killing themselves to obtain it. Kind of defeats the purpose, wouldn't you say?
