Best season so far was 46 points and he's your 1 C? Galchenyuk a 30 goal scorer playing 3rd line minutes beats that any day....sorry.

Galchenyuk is better offensively but he's also a defensive liability. Hertl is elite defensively. In their careers head to head, Hertl has 60% CF against McDavid. And you can't credit Thornton or Pavelski for that because McDavid has 56% and 55% CF against those two respectively.

And if Galchenyuk is playing 3rd line minutes? Probably means he isn't a #1C. His coach and GM don't think he's a #1C.

Wow where do I begin...For starters Yakupov should not even be on this list let alone at 11. Guy is terrible. If this draft was re-done he would be 3rd round or later

Brady Skjei easily goes into the top 10. Personally I'd have him at 7. A 39 point rookie season from a D--4 goals in the playoffs in 12 games. He's got size, is a great skater and defensively pretty reliable.

Is that Matt Murray or Ryan at #10? Personally, I wouldn't Trade Matt M. for any of the others. Maybe I value goalies more than some, but try winning a cup without a pretty good one.

I have excluded all goalies. Nowadays they don't get picked high anymore. It would be unrealistic to place them in the top 3 or top 10, even if they deserved it. E.g. Matt Murray could easily be #1, but nobody picks goalies at 1 these days.

It is laughable because think of it this way: would the Flyers trade Ghost for Yakupov? Of course not because Ghost is the better player.
