Miika Salomäki = Tuomo Ruutu. Someone will have a steal if he goes late 2nd round or later.

U.S. currently tied with the Swiss 1.1 after two periods. Typical IIHF exuberance in calling penalities in full effect.

Players at this age are usually not very disciplined, and the refs not very good. Swedish game is just the same. Goes both ways, though.

I watched a few games on fasthockey this past summer. Horrible camera placement, sub-par quality and a screaming announcer. Not worth the 6-7 bucks or what the cost was unless you desperately want to watch the game.

Both games tied with around half a period left to play. Interesting. Brodin is right on his way to become a SEL champion by the way so he'll be joining the team soon enough.

2-1 USA, 2-1 Czechs. Penalties killing Sweden right now.

Either this Team Sweden is super undisciplined or the refs are strange. I'm going with the former rather than the latter.

Wow... Czech Republic - Sweden 2:1 two minutes before end of third period :handclap:

Edit: 58.37 GK out SWE
Edit2: Game ended. 2:1 for Czechs

That's it. Congrats to Czechs, and congrats to Sweden for:

45 shots and just 1 goal.
5 penalties in a row in a decisive period.
Underachieving of main stars.

Meet your typical Team Sweden!

I think you got Team Sweden mixed up with Team Finland.

Massive shot advantage and playing shorthanded for half the 3rd. Doubt they will be happy, hopefully a good wakeup call. Best players need to do more, also Brodin joining should help the team a lot.

unfortunatelyno point, but the result is closer than expected, anyway the important games (against GER and SVK) are still coming...
