Henrik Lundqvist (Sweden), Brandon Dubinsky (USA), and Fedor Tyutin (Russia) will all represent their respective countries in the World Championships in Halifax and Quebec. Dubinsky was shipping out today. Lundqvist, who had some soreness in his knees from a hit in Game 4, expects to play for Sweden on Thursday.

Gaborik, Demitra, Chara, Nagy, Handzus, Stumpel, Satan, and many other players from NHL (meszaros, jurcina, radivojevic, Svatos, Kopecky...) refused to play for Slovakia this year.

But I don't blame them. They are comming every year if they are healthy and they are not in Play off.

Chara just had surgery.....he won't be fully healthy until September.

If Bykov can get Ovy, Kovy and company to come back and support the Russian D, the Russians will be the favourites, IMO.
If not, the Canadians, or potentially, the Americans, will expose the Russian defense and take home the championship.
