Anyway, this is, even as a deluded optimist, the start of the Pens walking into the Last Chance Saloon. If they can make it work with Sid back, then maybe we're in business. If after 3 or so games its clear they can't, then its time to burn it down. No pressure kids.

So we're 1-7-2 in the last 10 games, and still only 5 points out of the 3rd place in the division with one game in hand over the Capitals ... I mean if we stop playing like ass we're easily still in the hunt. The next games will tell if we're in the hunt for the play-off or for Hughes.

Man, Dan Bylsma would have loved that hockey card roster, awesome stuff @EightyOne . I was almost sure that Sullivan would get canned if they lose but not not anymore since other teams are firing their coaches in all cylinders, hard to think JR would do that now.

My guess is that they win this one...it’s the Western Conference after all..remember that win against ARI so long ago?

But it doesn’t lead to a winning streak with BOS and CLB b2b coming up....they are having problems against the East and the division...until they put in a good showing there and gain some confidence, we won’t move up the standings...

I am well aware. I watch a lot of Dallas hockey. However, I think Klingberg is maybe the best offensive defenseman in the league.

I mean...no but he's one of many solid offensive defensemen.

If we talk about offense it's Karlsson, Burns, Letang, etc.

Plus Lindell. They got some promising defenders. Maybe we can sign em in six years after their development is screwed up.



Their boards pretty much feel their team is trash and lazy, too.
