I would hope Tyler Boucher wouldn’t be apart of any return to Philly but it’s the Philly way to bring a player in who has a relation to the Philly organization (Brain Boucher).

It’s been reported that the Flyers would want a pick or prospect defender if the Flyers are taking on salary. Kleven would probably be of interest but I doubt Ottawa would part with him.

During intermission on the TSN feed, they said that Philly asked for Greig to take on Joseph and his 3 year 2.95 million. Bruce G said something like "they were not going to give him up just because his dad works for the company. Plus, Ottawa has no one to step in and replace his roster spot".

I found this, the paragraph in the article before this quote alludes to him thinking with the talent already in the system means it could lead to a quick turnaround.

Thanks. I don't take that as them saying it'll take 3 years. Of course if they get a Timonen and Hartnell for a first, a Coburn type d-man for a washed Zhitnik, J. Smith and Lupul, etc., it could only be a 3 year thing. Everything went right to turn it around fast.
