This puts things into perspective about what kind of offense you need to have as well as a strong defense. We always hear about how great our defense has become, but we're still a ways away from sniffing the playoffs.

Yeah but we are reaching the point of the season where you cant settle for 1 point and giving away the other like we did today.

The few weeks they decided not to show up to play, really hurt us. We should be up with Boston right now or ahead, instead we're stressed out over getting 1 point instead of 2 because they played like trash for 10 games. It's like they prepared to play 72 games this season instead of 82, just show up and float around for 10 games.

On a positive note, I thought Gudbranson and Kulikov was a real solid pairing in this game.

We aren't going to win every remaining game on the schedule. Just get as many points as possible and see if it's enough come the end. It's not looking very likely, but we'll see.

Yeah but this was one of the winnable games with Nashville playing b2b and having their backup in the net..

Yeah, if we we played like crap, I'd be happy with 1 point, but I thought we played well enough to get 2.

None of us are saying they're bad players (or at least I'm not). It comes down to stupid penalties and stupid plays that end up costing the game.
