The shot was perfect by all means! Superb velocity, perfect accuracy, and the timing was exactly perfect too, as Laine used the defenceman as a slight screen just before he picked his spot.

So good to see that he can now again use his wrister like it has been at his best. There was long periods in his Winnipeg seasons when his back problems were clearly preventing him from shooting like this. Especially the awful 2018-2019 season, when he was playing mostly bad by all means, but the injury was really a big factor for that. Lets just hope that he will be now healthy.

At least last season was already a lot better for him, and he has been training a lot of back and core muscle strengthening exercises, so hopefully those problems are really going to be history.
