"Most of the fathers and family members are sticking around Boston for Sunday’s matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning, who are tied at 74 points with the Bruins."

YES! Either way, whether they keep him or trade him the two points aren't as important as protecting their investment and not let him get hurt tomorrow night.

Bad news for those wanting to keep Eriksson: I tweeted for the Garden folks to play either The Sign or Don't Turn Around on Wednesday - and they picked the latter. So, clearly, Loui gets traded. But there's only three things keeping him from signing in Boston....

He needs to be bubble wrapped and placed gently in a cardboard box with plenty of air and/or hair holes. Parenteau got injured according to cursory scan on Twitter, so the B's would do well to glean from the Leafs' lesson what they can.

All that said, negotiations are stalled. I hope we don't do another Soderberg, but you can't hate Sweeney for refusing a bad trade.

Glad the dads are sticking around for another game - it just makes good sense for most of them, since I imagine most of them live pretty far north of Carolina. This game's not a "must win", but it would be a nice morale booster if they did - especially after all the "they can't win against playoff teams" and "they can't win at home" nonsense.

Update: Bruins and Eriksson camp still talking. Term and dollars still issue. Trade or negiotiations likely. News at 11.

I wonder how many people will be thinking more about tomorrow than the game. This time of year always gets stressful-sometimes more for the fans than the players. Bruins fans lately always seem to get sloppy seconds on deadline day. The big trade they want never comes through and we get the leftovers. Not sure in recent years anything could be as bad as the deadline that brought us Zanon.

So this means the Bruins are 6-13-3 at home wearing the primary and winter classic sweaters. :amazed::cry::rant:

I had it in my head that they were playing in TB today, then I saw on Twitter that it was at home and I briefly was happy....then I remembered....and stopped being as happy.

I hope they've gotten past the poor play at home thing.
