Could have very easily been a very different game.

The same obvious problems were there, but outside of that it wasn’t horrible. They got chances, but a mix of bad luck and some bad plays sunk them. On top of that, Elliott letting in two extremely weak goals didnt help.


Oh well. Time to go shovel.

No no, we must blame this game on *checks notes* Ghost and Sanheim. Definitely not brutal goaltending and a college system that minimizes offense by its very design.

Goaltending wasn't brutal tonight. Even ignoring the several very good saves, only two goals were let up. You have to win games when you only have 2 goals against.

Almost all of them on the rush. Once it ends they settle into the perimeter with no attempt to set up the slot, aside from a single top line shift towards the end of the 3rd.
