Could have very easily been a very different game.

The same obvious problems were there, but outside of that it wasn’t horrible. They got chances, but a mix of bad luck and some bad plays sunk them. On top of that, Elliott letting in two extremely weak goals didnt help.

Oh well. Time to go shovel.

They hit five posts against Chicago in 2014 … four on powerplays .. and won. Adversity makes people stronger not weaker.

No emotion boring hockey is our identity..

Pass to the point. NO going to the slot. And dont do mean stuff after the whistle
They had ten or so great opportunities from the slot tonight.

Why would you put in the middle, and who would you rank below him that is still employed? I can only think of Yeo off the top of my head.
I've already answered this question several times before. Not doing it yet again.

No no, we must blame this game on *checks notes* Ghost and Sanheim. Definitely not brutal goaltending and a college system that minimizes offense by its very design.
Goaltending wasn't brutal tonight. Even ignoring the several very good saves, only two goals were let up. You have to win games when you only have 2 goals against.
