What if all that time and usage was given to someone better at offensing? I bet the team would perform better.
Is that Frost? Do we KNOW he’s better at offensing?

jesus christ..
it just keeps getting worse..
miway throu reporter asks if theres not enuf veterans on the team
Torts hints some of the youth has no place on the team going forward..
this f***ing franchise is literaly trying to be the retirement home for old dogs...
fold the godam franchise already... what a unmidigated disaster
Go look at Colorado, most of the young players from 2015-16 are no longer in the NHL.
It's just realism, fans think every player under 23 is destined to be a star, NHL people know most will end up as Bellows or Bunnaman.
Every so often a player has a second life, Zacha in Boston or Hartman in Minnesota, but they are one out of ten.
I have questions if hexy could have traded Simmons. But whoever made the call not to trade Simmons was wrong. PERIOD!i feel hexy would have been more straight forward. But i believe the front office prevent the trades of simmer and so on. hexy was a hardliner vs the flyers structures. But this hardline was blocked from time to time.
But i dont have any proof, so its useless talk!
The medical and training staff were all replaced and there haven't been any core injuries since this pre-season and regular season except maybe Allison. Injuries still happen cause it's hockey. At this point...the injuries are on Fletcher. 3 disasterous injury years in a row is no longer bad luck or a coincidence. The flyers training medical staff are dinosaurs and their players are not properly trained to play the modern game (hence all the core injuries). When its a fluke hockey injury...guys are not treated right and are rushed back.
Getting JVR back was to cover up the bad trade that sent him away.I have questions if hexy could have traded Simmons. But whoever made the call not to trade Simmons was wrong. PERIOD!
It feels like Hexy was given a playoff or bust narrative and signed JVR. It doesn't make the JVR a good signing. But it sure explains why Hextall signed JVR. 30% on Hexy for not thinking on flyers long term and thinking now. But 70% on Homer/Clarkie for being dinosaurs.
Good thing Flyers learned their lesson and didn't extend Fisto.Getting JVR back was to cover up the bad trade that sent him away.

OOPS
Why wait a couple of months to give an educated opinion, when you could embarrass yourself with a scorching hot take right now?Can we just give him like 30 games with consistent offensive linemates before saying this? You might not be wrong, but he was one of the better offensive junior players and has been derailed a bit by injuries since turning pro, not to mention just a terrible development plan for offensive production.
You dug deep for this, huh?Why wait a couple of months to give an educated opinion, when you could embarrass yourself with a scorching hot take right now?
