That's really just a coaching mismatch. Torts has them playing in a way that completely nullifies the Stars forecheck. In general, forechecking seems to be a weakness of Monty's style.

I sincerely doubt our current roster is more talented than the one we had last year. Hitchcock was just great at making it look worse than it was.
