[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

Mac is obviously a huge part of our D corps. He is a special player.
I haven't talked to him today so I don't know how he's feeling, but we'll see if he can play.
- Marc Staal

I’ve never really felt pain like that but it turns out everything’s good, just a little sore, that’s it. I got them (the X-rays) this morning.
It helped mentally to know there’s nothing going on there. I felt good (on the ice), a little sore but I feel pretty good out there.
- Dan Girardi

There’s a tremendous amount of expectations put on this team, we can’t get involved in that.
You also have to handle the expectations correctly when you’re having a little bit of a jam here.
I think if you don’t handle the pressure the proper way, I think you get in the way, I think it binds you.
This is a team that needs something good to happen to it and try to gain some confidence back.
- John Tortorella

Yay, you're back. Now we can start winning again. Goals from Gaborik, Richards, Callahan and Stepan. 5-2 NYR.

Get this done, boys!

Gotta have fun tonight for a win. Unfortunately i have an 8:30 PM shift tonight so I am going to turn off my phone and d/l it when i get home. God we need 2 points in a bad way. Even losing this year in regulation hurts more obviously. Those loser points will mean something when game 48 is all said and done. LGR!

Gruesome looking line up . On a positive note love watching Andrew Ladd . Exact type of player NYR need and have rarely had ( since Graves )

Torts is really reaching . Powe at wing , mashinter at wing and BB at Center and CK scratched . Hello desperation I think I smell you and it wreaks .
What is purpose of having CK with the club if he is going to be scratched go let him play 20 min a night in AHL and bring up Haley as a spare forward / pest

Powe at wing on 4 th line Miller should center 3 rd line and CK should play

Oh yeah Bickel in as well .... Hahhahaha . Team has t scored a goal in a week and top prospect is a healthy scratch . Ok BTA ( blind Torts Apologists ) explain this tactical move

You'll see a different team tonight. They know they have to come out and win a game. Last year is over now.

I'll be there. LGR!

I'm 11-1-0 since the start of last season at the Garden. Hopefully my luck doesn't change since I'm not eating at Nathan's before the game like I always do.

Thorburn may be playing. The Jets are a big physical team, have been for a few years. Not saying I agree with Kreider sitting but let's not make a huge deal of the 3~4 minutes Bickel will be getting.

I think it is a huge deal that your going to keep someone in the lineup to play 3 minutes when you have a young guy who has offense potential going to waste.

Please, please, please eat at Nathans like you always do. We really need a win.

Fingers crossed Gaborik can pot a few.

Will this be the game Richards gets back on track?

Probably bad that I could see us coming out and playing one of our best ofthe year... But feel like we're gonna get closer to rock-bottom tonight.

If the Rangers lose tonight the fans at MSG are really going to let them hear it.

This four game homestand is an amazing opportunity to turn the season around, and they need to take advantage.

Not sure what the benefit of sitting Kreider is, but this is Torts we're talking about. If he's not going to play in the top-9, send him down to get top line minutes in the A. Running the Islanders playbook on developing Kreider right now.

Lundqvist wills the Rangers to a 2-1 OT loss with 35+ saves.
