Everyone HAS looked pretty depleted for this homestand. Wouldn't be entirely shocked if there was something going around. Could also just be a case of the '****its' though. With Couture out, Patty leaving and a new coach, I wouldn't be shocked to find out that 'team morale' was contributing to a culture of losing at the moment.

So while I love how the 2nd line's been playing, there's one thing that I haven't really liked about it. There's never really a slot presence or one timer threat. It always seems like all three guys will end up fighting along the boards for the puck. I might have selective memory though and only remember this because they're doing the puck retrieval part of things. Just seems not as dangerous as they could be.
