I'm on the road a lot and I work at nights. I admit that most of my fantasy hockey scouting comes from watching trends and a lot of late night analysis. I don't have the time to watch complete hockey games unless I'm lucky enough to be home on the weekends or the NHL Network or CBC re-runs a game.

I'm a complete hockey nerd and probably spend two to three hours a day reading about it though.

Barkov's 7 goals >>>>>>>>>> Huberdeau's 7 goals, obviously.

Barkov is carrying that team and is the Panthers' leading scorer accomplishing both while being the youngest player in the NHL and returning from a bad shoulder injury. He looks like a 6'5 John Tavares in the offensive zone, has completely heated up in the middle part of the season and has numerous times been called the best player in the draft. Hubereau with all due respect looks like the resurrection of Josh Bailey.

The way you cherry pick stats is hilarious.

I don't make ridiculous claims about my team/players.

Huberdeau was amazing last season. If you had had him he would've been the second coming of Christ and we would've never heard the end of it. Kinda like Bobrovsky and how we never heard the end of it and he's reverted back to the mean and is an average goalie again.
