I'm pretty sure my team is just destined to be second place every year. Second year in a row where my team does nothing in the finals and I bench tons of points.

This is not over by a long shot...slim lead in categories means nothing with a big Saturday slate of games.

Anyone else think we should make the finals the week before the final week of the regular season?

Just thinking about all the players the Ducks benched tonight, and players half assing it because they're locked in position, it might be better to move the finals back a week where more teams still have something to play for.

For any years that we only have 25 weeks of NHL season....then one matchup between any two managers will only meet once. I will make sure that it is not a divisional matchup.

so 21 weeks of regular season, 1 week for each for rounds one and two, and 2 weeks for the finals.

For years with 26 weeks, then we will have a full 22 weeks of regular season with 1 week each for rounds one and two and 2 weeks for the finals.

If there are seasons with 27 weeks (prob max 26.5 weeks)....how about a 2.5-3 weeks final? That might be overboard...lol

I'm all for taking as much randomness as possible out of the playoffs, lol. Though we could as easily say when there are 27 weeks it's 2 weeks and the last .5-1weeks don't count period? If that's an option?
