Alllllll right, Kalinin up on 2nd line and with potential for PP time also?

Looking forward to seeing that....

Hopefully all that effort the last bunch of games will generate more time/space/points for that whole line.

The Brooklyn-ification is well under way. They're just trying to do it slow enough so the "old fanbase" on LI doesn't notice...

So is the gentrification. Last time I was there, couldn't believe how much has changed.

The move to Brooklyn royally sucks for their old time diehard fans out on Long Island.
I really feel their pain.

It was built with basketball in mind though, wasn't it?

From a sight line perspective, I don't see how basketball is "that" much different from hockey?

Those obstructed views look like they would obstructed for basketball as well?

Devils can make a statement tonight, within their locker room, with a road W and home and home sweep.

Will be extremely tough IMO though, but, they can prove something to themselves tonight.

Size of rink vs. court. Pretty sure court is much smaller and that is basically is what it amounts to.

It's why I call them NYb, and no longer NYi.

I don't see them as the "Islanders" anymore, but more of Brooklyn hockey club.
Culturally, Brooklyn is another planet from Long Island.

The team no longer plays for Long Islanders.

I'd like to see Nassau politicians get their act together and build them a new arena to come back to.

It was built with concerts in mind first so seating on one side isn't equal to the other which cases the problem.
