Huge game...we always do well against them it seems.

Hopefully Barkov's strong play from the SO win vs. the Pens carries over.

I have been saying this the last little bit more and more.

That's a solid 4 lines, 3 D pairs that are all very capable and the elite or very close to elite goaltending.

I'm not looking at our lineup pre-game and seeing names I don't want to see or players in positions they shouldn't be in.

Hopefully Pirri regains his prior form over the next few weeks and I like having Thorny around, especially as the season progresses and if we are play-off bound, hockeys god's willing.

Flash to a western team for a pick, any pick.

If we're play-off bound TO is a team we have to take care of at home. Let's bury this one. Go Cats!

4 - 1 Florida and the Barkov line continues to heat up.

Hope everyone had some good food and good times with friends and family during Christmas. This is my favourite team to beat, let's do it in a convincing fashion as I'll be the lone panther cheering against 4 die hard leafers tomorrow.

Love those lineups. I'm happy with Trocheck or Hayes alongside Huberdeau and Bjugstad. Really looking forward to this game. Let's go Panthers!!

Having a blast so far in Lake Worth. Looking forward to the game tomorrow. Actually met a Panthers fan walking down the street. Had some pretty cool Xmas lights.

Man I really hope Trocheck can produce at RW.

Would not only solve what to do with him, it would also help with our depth at that wing.

Hayes looks like a good 2/3 line tweener PF so it would be nice to have another top 6 rw emerge from the pool

For the Cats fans attending please try not to get frustrated. Always remember how Leafs fans are on the inside.

That is awesome!

Absolutely huge to get a win tomorrow in front of a probably almost sold out crowd now that we're four points out of the Wild Card (with three games in hand though).

Even if they go 1-2 over the next 3 they're still in good shape.

To be honest I'm scared of Columbus right now, just destroying everyone.

Agree with everything except trading Flash. We've been lucky (knock on wood) to be so healthy this year and having him scratched is fine. That's the kind of depth we want and need. Flash has been great defensively. Plus, it creates more in team competition which is what we want. His contract comes off the books this year so keeping around is nbd.

I think he'll figure it out.

Hayes is on a 30 goal pace over 82 games. He's tied with Bjugstad for G/G. If he can become that top 6RW it would be sick. I think he can do it. Nothing about the way he is scoring goals makes me think he can't be a 25-30 goal scorer.

This matchup is basically "defensively sound" vs "scoring off the rush".

Reasons why we would lose:

1. Poor start
2. Penalty trouble
3. Didn't capitalize

Reasons why we would win:

1. Lu
2. We outwork them
3. Lu
