2014 2nd for Tyler Myers? Reclamation project?

He has a cap hit of $5.5 million until 2018-2019. Thats a ton of money. Huge gamble with him.

I think I heard he actually is the highest paid d-man this year, makes $12 million!

There certainly far from the team they were not so long ago.

They're in for a world of hurt.

The majority of their core is over 30 years old and they have the worst prospect pool in the leauge.

A recipe for disaster. I hope their fans are prepared for a Leafs-like playoff drought.

So we want:

Boston winning
Montreal Winning
Winnipeg Winning...
Carolina..
Us.

so you know it's going to be like three point games for everyone.

According to the buisness board the playoff magic numbers thread will be going up on Monday. Might want to keep your eyes open for it. It will be up on the NHL talk board

Its a formula for calculating the points needed to clinch/not make the playoffs. Instead of just saying it took on average X amount of points last year so thats what we need to make it this year, it actually calculates what it will take to do it.
Sportsclubstats.com does this already if anyone is interested.
