Can we please stop talking about turtling now, though?
Playing a passive 2-1-2 like they were doing in the second and early third is not turtling. If you see the guys start employing a 1-1-3 or a 1-4 then you can start talking about turtling. Sort of crazy that some guys want to label a 2-1-2 as "turtling" and it, frankly, just is blatantly false.
Hell, the team hasn't even fully pulled back yet. Still playing mostly a moderately aggressive 1-2-2. I think part of that is because the Caps are deflated and the Rangers know that they don't have to go ultra-defensive.
I'm not saying this to be a dick, but I think some guys on here aren't fully aware of the different player alignments and automatically assume that not full aggression = turtling. That's just not true.
