Not much talk about the habs, but so much talk about the leafs and their fans in here.

We complain about all the coverage they get, but I think that some of us are secretly obsessed with them, reading through this thread.

Bathing in their tears.

When the Habs play their game, fourth line goons can't keep up and get glued to the bench. Habs have some fight in them. Great to see them win playing their game.

Last time Leafs won a cup I wasn't even born yet, that sad part is I'm old:laugh:

I'd say there are a good amount of Leaf fans who are now mad teenagers here who can't even remember the last time the Leafs were even in the playoffs.

I wouldn't even mind seeing the Leafs in the playoffs again now.. It just makes the playoffs more interesting for atleast 1 round anyway. :)

it's kind of nice watching the habs dominate and still know they can, and have played better this year.

top 3 lines play well in their own end and contributing to the score sheet. it's nice to have such depth.

therrien, wow. you're doing an excellent job 5-5. this team still has some special teams issues to work out.

excited to play the bruins and pens. curious to see us against the best.

Some fans are over there bragging that their loss was not as bad as losing 6-0 and therefore a victory.:laugh: I did'nt post but smiled while reading.

Ya I read that too I wanted to chime in so badly with a big troll laugh.

That game WAS there Stanley Cup. You can go back to their board on a quiet day in August and they'll still be talking ''THAT 6-0 game against the habs''.

The biggest joke of that team is Phil ''The Thrill'' Kessel and his 4 goals in 21 games :handclap:

It reminiscent of the 07-08 team. You have 3 skilled lines, and a workmanlike 4th line that can also chip in. Both editions rolled 4 lines. The difference is that this team is not as efficient on the PP (yet), but seem to be more capable at even strength, and have a more established netminder.

Even though the scoring was 5-2. That was a pretty tight game. We dominated for sure and had plenty of opportunities. But we weren't able to capitalize on them for some reason. Had been able to this game would have been something like 10-2. Oh well, the Leafs still stuck in there for two periods. I'm glad we stuck to our game plan of puck possession rather than go into the Leafs goonery type of play. Tonight's game was a good vengeance. But I'm thirsty for more. Hope we got rid of our funk against these ass wipes and get to trounce them again.

God damn, I love Prust and Gallagher!

WOOOH!
Go Habs go!

Neither one, IMO. These are the 2 legit contenders in the East in my eyes, Price gets both games.

Budaj will start a game the following week in the Florida back-to-back.

100% this. Keep this train rolling. Carey must feel good to get goal support, and he didn't have a big workload tonight.

I think the TO medias obsession with big mean afraid to fight Prust Phaneuf is a joke also. If the Calgary Flames give up on you, there is no hope for you, Calgary will keep anyone. He is an idiot and will be Komisarek v2 before very long.

I think it has a lot to do with MT being very fair with ice-time. Our 4th line players a lot but they deserve it - especially Ryan White. He's been incredible since coming back.

It's nice to see after Cunneyworth destroying all lines but one and Martin's a grinder on every line philosophy that made the 4th line leftover scraps. Pretty much everyone on this team is carrying their weight more or less. Well, except Kaberle.

But yeah, there's been things Therrien has done that have driven me crazy, but he's coaching nothing like I expected him to.

I don't know what to make of the Leafs. They always get off to a great start and then go away...
