I was actually shocked to see our record was so good in Matinees last year.

I always feel we don't play well in them. Maybe it's cause I just hate Matinee games.

Tho in past seasons I know we've done horrible in them.

Also shocked to see our numbers vs Colorado are so bad they haven't been good for awhile now. Strange.

The Bruins do surprisingly well in matinee games. They just aren't always great games.

Typical no effort shift from Vatrano. Backchecks to steer the play wide. Blocks a shot. Wins the race to the loose puck and almost gets a shot on goal off the rush.

McAvoy is such a joy. I can't remember someone that young with that much confidence when the puck's on his stick since probably Bourque. Wesley didn't start out that strong, nor did McLaren. Kid is just fearless when he has it. No back pass to a partner, just use the net, take the hack from the guy chasing him, and take off with it up the ice.
