The day has come, and the Stammerking is ready to take back his throne! Lets Go Lightning! It is also neat to open the season against VL4 after ending Marty's season last year.
I say 4-2 Lightning. Two goals by Stamkos, one by Kuchenrov, and one by Johnson.
Assist are going two to drouin, two to palat, and one for Johnson. Hedman also has a huge game.

As always, great job (Stammer's goals and assists are reversed). Those lines are so awesome.

It feels like Game 6 of the SCF was a month or so ago. Time few by, apparently. Anyways, so excited for the season to be underway. This is the most talented and deep roster the TBL have ever had (and likely will ever have). Let's enjoy the ride.

It's here, it feels both as if last season ended a short while ago and yet at the same time it feels as if it's been several months but I'm so ready for this.

Feels amazing to have a real hockey game tonight!!! Won't be able to watch, no cable or internet, but i'll be following updates through the phone and hopefully catch a replay tomorrow morning.

I know some people are not overly excited with a 2nd place banner, but it is still a great accomplishment that will be forever in the rafters. Should still be proud of this team.

I think Stammer and Johnson's lines dominate tonight...we get at least 4 goals and give up one at the end. Filp's line skates against the Flyers first line all night and just bottles them up. Flyers are outclassed here...can't out physical us, can't skate with us, and don't have enough depth to keep up. Should be a fun night. Couldn't go to the game tonight...but I'm expecting huge things from Drouin this year. I'm so pumped!

It's not not a second place banner, it's a first place in the East banner! It would have gone up if we won the cup anyway. I don't get the angst.
