I really wish that Jack would stop slowing down the play and just turn on the jets most of the time. He's one of the best players in the league when he actually skates.

he looked good out there though, put a lot of pressure on opposition defenses and got a lot of pucks to the net. I'd say he was even probably one of our better players, even if the season was doomed from the start due to Phil's 'system'

It’s noticeable to me how much better the Sabres players are reading off each other when it comes to who goes after the puck and/or puck carrier.

So many times in previous years they’d look frozen, like they had to stop and think who was supposed to go after the puck/carrier. Or both players would go after it and end up out of position.

This year they all look like they know what they’re supposed to be doing.

It really is obvious that they are so much better coached this season.

I haven’t hated Veseys game. I want more offense, but he plays a good defensive game. Besides, he hasn’t been THE anchor on that line.
