I know Doughty is considered to be among the very best in the league, but that is a LOT of money to be paying him until he's 36. I wouldn't be surprised if his game starts to fall away in the next season or two.
Still not as bad as what Arizona is paying OEL though.

One thing about Tavares I haven't really noticed until this season is how solid he is on his skates. He's near impossible to push off the puck. He's not a small guy, but he's not huge either -- pretty similar to Crosby's low centre of gravity.
