Wish I could get up to Providence to catch the games this weekend, but, well...I'll be quite involved in some college extracurricular activities.

In any case, hope the Baby B's break out the broomsticks and blow away the Bears. :yo::yo:

Wow, that's a tongue twister...

Glad to see Knight in the line up given the amount of bodies they've got down there right now.

If Spooner dominates in the playoffs and they win a couple rounds, does that guarantee him a spot next year?

I think he's guaranteed a spot anyway. It's tough fitting him in since we're stacked at the center position, and the team and him have made it clear that's his preferred position. But with this kid, we make it work. I was REALLY high on him before this season, but the way he performed this year takes it to a new level. I think he's really special. He also played pretty good in the few games he was here, given that he wasn't with the best linemates and we were playing some really good teams.

He doesn't exactly play a 4th line game, but a Paille-Spooner-Campbell line could definitely work to start him off. Or, maybe move Kelly down and go Soderberg-Spooner-Jagr/UFA/someone. Having 2 centers on a line is definitely a plus for Claude. But I think Spooner will be a center, no Seguin situation for him. If we absolutely can't fit him, another year in the minors definitely doesn't hurt. But I think he's on his way up.
